Boston Police ID 26-Year-old Killed In Roxbury Shooting

Police have identified the 26-year-old man shot and killed last week in a Boston shooting just behind Jim Rice Field at Ramsay Park.

Hanser Abraham Moreta-Gonzalez was shot on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 625 Shawmut Avenue in Roxbury just after 6 p.m., Boston police said. Doctors pronounced him dead after responders rushed him to an area hospital.

Several people posted condolences to Moreta on social media. A friend of the Madison High School graduate wrote that Moreta was "always just trying to have a good time and make everyone around him laugh."
